About NextCaregiver
NextCaregiver is a private, shared hub where families coordinate care for an aging or ill parent. Instead of critical details living in a group text, on a sticky note, or in one person's head, every doctor visit, medication change, follow-up, and uploaded document is captured once and instantly available to the whole family.
Speak or type a note in the parking lot after an appointment, and AfterCall Update organizes it into a clear, editable handoff: what changed, which medication changes were proposed, and who is assigned to each next step. The medication list never changes on its own — a family member confirms every suggested change before it counts, and the original note is always preserved. Documents, insurance details, and provider contacts sit alongside a running timeline, and invitations let each relative see exactly what they are allowed to see, with editors and viewers clearly separated.
It is built for adult children and siblings splitting caregiving across households and cities — especially the family member stepping in on short notice who needs the full picture in under a minute.
NextCaregiver is built by Roque Rodriguez, an independent builder working directly with caregiving families. It is a record-keeping and coordination tool, not a medical device: it does not provide medical advice, verify clinical accuracy, or replace a healthcare professional.
